The ramblings and work of a photography enthusiast, this website is dedicated to exhibiting some of my work and provide a point of contact for anyone who is interested in some interaction. I am just about always down to go off and take pictures with somebody on a photo-walk or just have a chat.

I encourage anybody who so desires to download one or more of my images and use it as a screen saver, or a background, or lock screen. One of my pet peeves regarding photography is how protective so many amateur photographers are about mediocre photographs. Furthermore, none of the images posted here are the full resolution “originals.” If you want to blow up and print a picture at full resolution, shoot me an email and we can figure out a way to get that done.

What does the “Bit Of Red” name mean? Nothing really, I like the way it sounds. I grew up in Redlands California, my most commonly used camera brand (Nikon) usually features a small red motif on their camera bodies, a little bit of red in a picture tends to catch the eye, it is everything and nothing all at once.

Look around, find something you like, drop a line, read a blog post. I intend for this to be a pretty laid back place, so don’t take anything here too seriously. Thank you for stopping by!
